Hanoi - Arrival
- Morning: Arrival at Noi Bai airport and hotel check-in
- Afternoon: Hanoi city tour (Temple of Literature, Hoan
Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, the ancient quarter of Hanoi)
- Evening: Dinner and brief orientation

Hanoi
- Morning: Visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his
house, One-pillar Pagoda, History Museum
- Afternoon: Visit Hanoi Children Cultural House; visit
"Xa me" group - an organization of orphans selling newspapers;
visit a school
- Evening: Water puppets show

| Day 3 |
Hanoi
- Morning: Visit the Army Museum and the "Hanoi Hilton"
(Maison Central) - the old prison where American pilots
were kept during the war; visit a hospital
- Afternoon: Visit Peace Village in Thanh Xuan (a humanitarian
village for disabled children who are second or third generation
victims of the war) or visit Huu nghi (Friendship) village
at Van Cam commune, Hoai Duc district, Ha Tay province,
where veterans and children affected by Agent Orange are
being cared for.
- Evening: Dinner with teachers or economists

| Day 4 |
Hanoi - Ha Long - Hue
One day trip to Ha Long Bay. Evening departure to Hue
by train.

| Day 5 |
Hue
- Morning: Check-in to hotel in Hue; visit a Vietnamese
Hero Mother - a title conferred by the State to the mothers
whose sons and daughters died for the sake of national independence;
visit a teacher's home.
- Afternoon: Visit the tombs of Kings Tu Duc and Khai Dinh
- Evening: Music night on the Perfume River

Hue -
DMZ Visit DMZ and war tunnel |
| Day 7 |
Da Nang
- Morning: Boat trip on the Perfume River and visit to Thien
Mu pagoda and the Imperial City, Dai Noi (Nguyen Dynasty
of capital). Depart for Danang. Stop on Hai Van passes for
sightseeing.
- Afternoon: Visit Cham Museum

| Day 8 |
Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City
- Morning: Depart for Hoi An. En route, visit the Marble
Mountains and China Beach
- Afternoon: Visit the Ancient Town of Hoi An and Cua Dai
Beach. Return to Da Nang.
- Evening: Flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi
Visit Cu Chi Tunnel and Cao Dai Religious Temple. Return to
Ho Chi Minh City |
| Day 10 |
Ho Chi Minh City
- Morning: Visit the Unification Palace (alias Independence
Palace) and city tour
- Afternoon: Free time and shopping

| Day 11 |
Depart for United States. |
