Vietnam, a country famous among Americans due to our involvement in the Vietnam War, has a unique and rich civilization, spectacular scenery, and a highly cultured, cordial people. Although two and a half decades have passed since the war, how these courageous people reinvented their future and what they think about Americans still intrigues us. This 15-day trip offers us a rare opportunity to discover the answers, and lets us observe a country of traditional charm and beauty taking its first hesitant steps into the modern world.

We will fly from North to South, and visit six major cities such as Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City. On our way back home, we will visit another Asian city for three days. (One of the following cities will be chosen depending on the airline we use: Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo or Taipei.)
