Our tour leader, Ms. Ji-li Jiang, has
won dozen of prestigious award in USA for her book Red
Scarf Girl -- a powerful memoir about her experience
during the China's Cultural Revolution when she was twelve years
old. This award-winning book has been translated into five foreign
languages. Now, immigrated to US, Ms. Jiang's personal goal is to
bridge the gap between East and West.

to Chinese students about their lives.

Visit Chinese teachers'
home individually for unrestricted conversation.

Visit Shanghai Science
& Technology Center for Youth and observe Chinese students'
after school activities.

Visit Shanghai Library,
one of the two largest libraries in China. Shanghai Library
is famous for its restoration of ancient texts and scroll paintings.

Visit a prestigious Chinese
publishing company and understand its function and operating
procedures.

Visit a traditional Chinese
opera company or a contemporary theater company. Attend a penal
discussion with a film director or a stage director.
